An old refugee helps African refugees to have better experiences than him.

volunteer experience is certainly significant special in the humanity fields. It is really important to be a volunteer. Also, you will be absolutely a compassionate person if you try to help other people. Today, most refugees need a lot of  assistances. Actually, there are always a lot of  volunteering organizations that people heard about. However, today, talking about volunteers are not common as much as volunteering organizations. Therefore, I decided to focus on volunteers who try to help refugees and improve their societies. In addition, Amani Teklehaimanot is a volunteer who tries to make African refugees safer. Teklehaimanot understands his passengers better than most. Fifteen years ago, Teklahaimanot was in the same situation as those he is trying to help because of that he tries to help them.

  
"I came through the same journey, and I really know how these people face a lot of hardship in their journey," he told Al Jazeera. "It's really a good opportunity to help these helpless people because I was in the same situation." Amani got away poverty and repression that was in Eritrea in 2001. His trip took him through Sudan and the Libyan desert before he tried to cross the Mediterranean on a rubber dinghy to reach Europe. The dinghy he traveled on failed, however, he had to return to Libya. Then, in another dangerous journey on a wooden boat, Amani was able to finally reach Italy. Today,Teklahaimanot is a helpful volunteer for many African refugees, and he tries to help refugees by avoiding all problems that he had been to.
